In the fullness of time
Merry Christmas, my friend! Gift a subscription to the Icon Mail Club to someone special this year.

Here’s an excerpt from this month’s Icon Mail Club letter describing the greatest mystery of all time:
In the fullness of time, the Logos, though equal with the Father, lowered himself below the angels1 and took on humanity so that we might be made God2.
The Word assumed His human form inside the Ever-Virgin’s womb. There, the Uncontainable is contained.
The One who sustains the cosmos by His very being is sustained by the blood of His Virgin Mother.
She imparts the Word His humanity, yet she is fashioned in His image.
This creature, full of grace3, feeds the Creator. She gives him life, yet He holds her very existence together. She nourishes Him who is the source of all nourishment.
And now the Virgin Mother gives birth to the Eternal One in the house of bread, Bethlehem.4
